STF Group also uses the FRP wall system to manufacture SpaceCube Living Quarters, a rapidly deployable, re-usable, module structure available for short or long term deployments in emergency response events that far exceed benefits of tents and trailers currently used. Units can be delivered by road, rail or air to any location as an expandable unit once placed on leveling blocks. The SpaceCube Living Quarters can come as fully equipped, self-sustaining unit with solar or small vertical wind turbines (12V and 110 power) and fresh/waste water delivery storage systems. Refurbishment after use is limited to power cleansing and closing the unit for storage in a stack-able condition for savings over long periods of time.
The FRP has proven to be successful in use as the structure in our FEMA related SpaceCube Living Quarters. We provided our first SC Living Quarters to the Haitian relief program. Although it was received successfully the cut and re assessment in USAID prevented QRT from supplying these products, but we learned the benefits of FRP insulation for use in this market and successfully designed a model that we think will lead in the supply in FEMA purchases in the future. These units can be delivered by any flatbed trailer or rail road to any place as a unit that expands once placed on leveling blocks. The SpaceCube Living Quarters can come fully equipped to sustain a family in a rapid response and quality living conditions. These units are fully self-contained using 12V (solar or small vertical wind turbines) and 110 power, fresh water as well as contained, stored, potable brown water. Since we use FRP the refurbishment after use is limited to power cleansing and closing the unit for storage. The Actual deliverable unit will be outfitted at the time of demand to limit the expense for short time use or fully loaded for longer time uses.
As part of our development we are manufacturing our Star Cube PV system. We use this on our Living Quarters system as well as stand-alone PV projects. QRT has a co-production and branding agreement with Suniva. All components are 100% made in America.
